Transfer and Promotion Appeals 

The Police Gazette will be published on Thursday afternoon, 17 April 2025, instead of the scheduled date of Monday 21 April, given Monday is a public holiday.

Under the Act, any appeals arising from this Gazette would technically be due to be lodged by midnight on Monday 21 April 2025. 

Friday 25 April is also a public holiday. The President of the Board has determined that the early publication of the Gazette is an exceptional circumstance and will extend the time limit for the lodging of any appeal arising from selections included in the 17th April 2025 Gazette to 12 noon on Thursday 24 April 2025.

The President has refreshed the Practice Directions regarding how police  and PSO transfer and promotion appeals will be run for appeals on selections in the Gazette after the 10 January 2025. The directions are here.
