A guide to the PRSB appeals process

The Chief Commissioner has written to the President, PRSB to request continue to support the Board's ability to inquire into and report on matters contained in the sworn enterprise agreements. The purpose of the correspondence is to clarify the matters that the Board may inquire into and report on under the standing referral.

Special Practice Note: Appeals applies to positions advertised on or prior to the 30/03/2020

The President has issued a new Special Practice Note: Appeals. It applies to positions advertised in the Gazette from the 13th of April. It covers changes to the PRSB process that emerge from recent changes to the TPU process, as well as temporary changes due to the Victoria Government response to COVID-19.

The PRSB will be closed on Friday 10 April and Monday 13 April for the Easter public holidays. Phone and email will be unattended and we will respond to messages and enquiries on Tuesday 14 April.

Due to the current state of emergency priority will be given to applications for registration from former members who resigned from Victoria Police within the last 2 years, and who wish to return to Victoria Police in the immediate future.
