The President has released a special practice note. The purpose of these Special Practice Directions is to ensure the safety of staff, members and parties during the COVID-19 pandemic, while establishing a process to allow appeals to continue to be heard and determined.
Presently, Victoria remains in containment mode, which includes identifying, isolating and quarantining possible cases. Appeals and reviews will continue to be heard. If you are unwell, in self-quarantine or do not wish to attend a hearing in person you can attend by teleconference. Teleconferencing allows participants to present effectively and hear all speakers. Several people can participate in the teleconference at the same time . You will not be disadvantaged. To request a teleconference, please call Graeme Knights on 9600 4288 and instructions will be provided.
We will continue to monitor and respond to the situation as it develops.
