Reviews and appeals
Under the Victoria Police Act 2013, the Police Registration and Services Board (PRSB) Review Division has responsibility for hearing:
- appeals against promotion and transfer decisions made within Victoria Police; and
- reviews of decisions made by the Chief Commissioner or their delegate.

The PRSB hears and determines reviews for a range of different types of decisions.
Appeals provide an independent forum for employees of Victoria Police to challenge selection decisions involving positions for which they have applied.
